As I became more involved with Cardano, I started thinking about what I could do for Cardano. With that in mind, I wanted to contribute to Cardano by operating a stake pool and supporting the network, so I started operating âAKYO Poolâ on March 20, 2021. At first, there were many things I didnât know, and I started out learning how to set up and operate nodes one step at a time. However, actually operating a stake pool gave me the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how Cardano works and its technology. I continue to be involved with Cardanoâs network and technology today, including by participating in all of its testnets.
AKYO, formerly WYAM, has maintained reliable node operations and consistent block production for more than five years. Alongside contributing to Cardanoâs decentralization and resilience, I support fellow SPOs and take part in community activities.
With stable block production and responsible operation as the foundation, AKYO will continue contributing to the growth of the Cardano ecosystem.
In the third round of IOGâs delegation program, AKYO was selected as one of 100 pools through community nominations by fellow SPOs. I remain deeply grateful to everyone who recommended AKYO.
